Erik-Christensen
A friend and I have started been involved in macro photography, which is a new world for us. He has a Sony A7II with a Sigma 100mm macro and 2 sets of extension tubes plus a 50mm lens. We are a little puzzled, as the 50mm with 26mm extension gives a bigger magnification then the Sigma 100mm also with the 26mm extension. Are we very wrong, as we assumed it should be the opposite. Somebody with a good explanation?
Niels - NHSN
If the object is the same distance from the sensor (not front of lens) then it does not make sense. Niels
