This forum's moderators are allowing up to three Nikon Wednesday images per week, so share some work! Happy Nikon New Year to all - and the first of a new year of Wednesdays. For today, a bit of leftover holiday stuff - a frame grab from a short video made as a greeting card of sorts. Though some special effects came wandering in during post, the practical moments were shot on the Z6 with a 24-70, and it did a great job in very nocturnal lighting conditions. Feeling more and more like a mirrorless new year for what I find myself doing. Hope everyone else stops by to share a shot or two. Go!
ShunCheung
Happy new year, Matt and everybody. Saw this pied-billed grebe caught a fish (bluegill ??) but was struggling to consume it. Initially I thought there was absolutely no way such a small bird could swallow a, relatively speaking, large and especially wide fish. But the grebe was very persistent and after like 10 minutes had its breakfast. Nikon D500 with 600mm/f4 AF-S.
Tim Wilcox
Just messing around with the ProStandard profiles in Capture One 21. I don't think the colours are as true to life as they claim, but they are still quite pleasing nonetheless. Nikon Z7 & 24-70 f/2.8. All shot at 1/125s, f/2.8 and ISO 320 (3rd Image at 640)
