Matt Laur
Important: please keep your image under 1000 pixels on the longest side for in-line viewing, and please keep the FILE SIZE UNDER 300kb. Note that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc). Are you new to this thread? The general guidelines for these Wednesday threads are right here:http://www.photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00W7km. This forum's moderators are allowing up to three Nikon Wednesday images per week, so share some work! It's that time of year when otherwise reasonably well adapted middle-aged adults still sit and stare at oddly scaled little villages strung with incongruous lights and try to catch a hint of the imagination and suspension of disbelief and fantastical exploration that only a child can do well. The first time I saw these wooden block buildings was when my aunt and uncle, who made them for us, dropped them by over fifty years ago. They still come out for a friendly table-top visit every December to make a little scene for us. Eggnog with the right sort of bourbon helps to loosen the mind just a bit - I'll give that another try this weekend. But in the meantime, a good Nikon Wednesday to all! Share some photos. This was with a D810 and an 85/2.8 tilt-shift being not at all put to use correctly at one o'clock in the morning.

JDMvW
I shot Nikon for over 30 years up to 2005, and a little bit of my heart still belongs to the original Nikon F-mount. To this day, muscle and body memory ensure that I try to do the "Nikon twist" (AKA "Nikon shuffle")* on most lenses I use, regardless of marque. o_O The Twist sequence on a Nikkormat FTn ____________ *It cannot be a mere coincidence that this happened the same year that Nikon introduced the Nikon F
