Canon EOS M50 Adapter Question!!

I consider it unlikely the 3rd party adapters could literally harm the M-series cameras, but when I got my EOS M5, I bought the Canon adapter. For less than $200 it gave me the use of many times that dollars worth of lenses already in hand and I figured if Canon couldn't do it right, who could?! I did buy a third party adapter to mount FD glass on the M5 -- mostly for entertainment.

I’m trying to get an adapter for my Canon M50 and was wondering if getting the Canon adapter is better or getting a third party adapter like Viltrox is better?

Will third party adapters harm my camera in the long run? Or does it not matter?

Thanks everyone!!

get a third party adapter - it's the same as the official Canon one
