Leslie Reid
You are invited to upload one or more of your landscape photos and, if you’d like, to accompany your image with some commentary: challenges you faced in making the image? your intent for the image? settings? post-processing decisions? why you did what you did? the place and time? or an aspect you’d like feedback on? And please feel free to ask questions of others who have posted images or to join the discussion. If you don’t feel like using words, that’s OK too—unaccompanied images (or unaccompanied words, for that matter) are also very much welcomed. As for the technicalities, the usual forum guidelines apply: files < 1 MB; image size <1000 px maximum dimension. I of course have to post a turkey-landscape photo in honor of the US Thanksgiving holiday--happy Thanksgiving to all of you, where-ever you may be. (I had first cropped off the right-hand half, but then I decided I liked the strangeness in the lower righthand corner, and there's something I like about the awkward composition--it's oddly balanced, but all wrong. My eye keeps jumping from the turkey to the centered backlit grass stem, and tends to spend more time on the grass stem. Like I said, all wrong. But it makes me smile.)

Glenn McCreery
Thanksgiving sunrise, this morning. Edited November 26, 2020 by Glenn McCreery
Glenn McCreery
That’s gorgeous Glenn. Definitely worth an early morning start. Thanks Ludmilla. Early morning dog walks get me up and moving earlier than I might otherwise prefer. As a result of dog walks, I think that I have taken about five times as many photographs of sunrises than of sunsets.
