Customer support ?

Have moved this to Site Help where I can keep an eye on it. Activation, which I cannot control, is quirky, and can be fairly fast or take quite a long time. I don't have any reliable method to expedite it. Suggest that you use the capabilities you currently have to participate. Please let me know when your situation changes. Feel free to PM me.

Activation allows your images and profile to be seen publicly, I think that's the only constraint on your account at the moment - in all other aspects you are an active Member.

 

The "autourization" supposed to be automatic, but often the time varies: NB one particular point I have noted is that if a new member's images are set to "private" the automatic system of authorization does not work, and seeming that sticks after a period of time if the images are left as "private".

 

I any case you can avail yourself of your membership, as you already have done, by contributing to forums and etc.

 

Meantime I shall look into this further -

addendum: I am certain that your account is in fact 'authorized' I can see your home page.

It seems that the automatic process does work, if new members follow the procedures as set out.

You may not see the account as authorized if you have maintained the same login since you first joined: in this case, you should log out and then log in NOT using cookie/favourites, but via the long way login from the Photo.net home page found via your search engine.

 

Please advise the result.

Nothing against you but that is poor customer service. You, as an administrator should have answers and or should have the ability to contact the person(s) who do approve and activate accounts.

Don't believe the titles.

Sandy and I (and all the other Moderators/Administrators) are volunteers, not staff. We have higher user traits but not server wide access, nor access to those who might.

Sandy was attempting to assist you within all the traits that he has available.

 

Now to the point that I asked - have you logged out and logged in again and can you see your home page yet?

Just now your account appears completely functional,the photos you posted visible. Please review Terms of Use. Some basic instructions can be provided if you find that you need them.
