vv
Dear photo.net, I recently acquired a 500elx but my enthusiasm was quickly overshadowed by disappointment when I realized that the shutter on O mode wasn’t working as expected. Indeed the shutter doesn’t close consistently, as shown on the video. In order to close it I need to switch from O to L mode. Either this or push the little lever protruding from the back, where the film back connects with the body. The other modes work fine and the camera is in an overall very good condition. I bought a new adapter for the CRP2 6v battery but to no avail. Should I proceed to service the camera ? Hasselblad repair is unfortunately quite expensive so I’m open to any advice. I wouldn’t venture opening it, however i downloaded the technical sheet. I’m open to suggestions. many thanks !
q.g._de_bakker
Have you considered the option to return it to the seller?
