Matt Laur
Important: please keep your image under 1000 pixels on the longest side for in-line viewing, and please keep the FILE SIZE UNDER 300kb. Note that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc). Are you new to this thread? The general guidelines for these Wednesday threads are right here:http://www.photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00W7km. This forum's moderators are allowing up to three Nikon Wednesday images per week, so share some work! Visiting with friends this past weekend, we enjoyed some oddly clear air and a sunset without a cloud to bounce from. While bracketing exposures to see what I could get (between cocktails - it was a very relaxing weekend!), I was reminded just how much latitude we have with our modern cameras and software. Other than a minor change in the framing, the only difference between these images - taken just seconds apart - is shutter speed. Taken with a D810 and a 24-70/2.8. Produced different takes on the same scene recently? Share some photos on this Nikon Wednesday!

Matthew Currie
Matt Laur's pond reminds me a bit of mine. If the view had been a little more to the left, I think the trees in the second shot would even match. This was a little earlier this fall .
