DXO Photo Lab has just released its new version. If you want to get an idea of what is new and how it works, look at these two links and go to DXO's website for more information. The major features that may interest you are Deep Prime noise reduction, watermarks, Color Picker added to HSL, lots of workplace organization tools, batch renaming for exporting images, etc.

Downloaded a demo (I have version 2) but I'm not super happy that the main preview doesn't show the effects of Deep Prime or any NR, only that tiny preview. I understand for some, it's slow (on this end, pretty fast) but not seeing the entire results of this upon other edits is rather disappointing, it should be an option unless I'm missing something.

This has been the case for years, ever since PRIME NR was first introduced. What I do is look at the overall image at 100% and place the Detail review rectangle on the spot that I'm most concerned about.

To my mind, the Default NR is too strong for Luminescence adjustment, smearing feathers and fur slightly. I usually move it down to around 20 or so and then raise Fine Contrast and/or Microcontrast, depending on the subject. If you lens/body combo is profiled in the Auto Correct Details section, then I'd suggest raising Global Sharpness to around 60 or 70 and Details around the same.
