Silent Street
Steve, The botanist in me wants to now what that carpet of rock-creeping succulent is. I surmise it has a deep and tangled understorey below what can be seen in this? The gorgeous water looks ... soooooo enticing! The Pacific is one of the few safe-havens from COVID at the moment, and keen to remain that way. Anyways, have you bought our Business Class airfares for standby departure yet!? :):p Garyh | AUS Pentax 67 w/ ME | Swiss ALPA SWA12 A/D | ZeroImage 69 multiformat pinhole | Canon EOS 1N+PDB E1 Kodachrome, Ektachrome, Fujichrome E6 user since 1977. steve_rasmussen
Hi Gary-- I'm not sure what that plant is called but it is quite common in much of the South Pacific. Yes, they do have a nasty understory that makes walking through them a real challenge. They like to grow on eroded limestone, as seen here. I thought this shot was Velvia 50 but I dug out the slide and saw it was Velvia 100f. Didn't buy any business class airfares but did get a couple of cheap seats for next April to French Polynesia. :)

Ricochetrider
New film scans just in, plenty of 120 stuff. Hasselblad 500c, various films and a couple lenses. I picked up a 250mm Sonnar CF *T lens over the summer but hadn’t used it since. So just lately, I have been shooting “detail shots” from a distance with this lens. I’m liking the results! I’m riding my K1200 today, north along the Ohio River in sunny, balmy weather. Fair skies, following winds, and good pavement

Or just getting rid of this bike? Oh and I meant to ask what bike you rode insect dreary weather the other day?
