James Bryant
Pardon my abysmal ignorance James, what is B+W 022. B+W is a German brand of filters. 022 is their designation for a medium yellow filter of #8 equivalent. I like them because they are high quality filters and easy to clean with Zeiss alcohol lens wipes. I mention that it is a medium yellow filter on the first picture I post when it is used and then get lazy about typing.

chuck_foreman1
Chuck- your fine results with the Yashica Lynx remind me that I need to give my 14e some exercise. Meter is dead and VF is foggy, and filter ring is dented, but shutter speeds and apertures work fine. We're off to a great start in this thread. Looking forward to seeing more images. Sound quite like mine.. RF is broken, the meter is dead...and I recall a comment; somebody noted, every Lynx14 he'd ever seeen has a dented filter ring...mine too :)..but shutter and aperture work just fine
