Still, Gene M., of fond memory, (Found Films [bTW, not secure]) did wonders with such things.

I did a google search to see if I could find Some photos he took with those cameras. Couldn’t find a one. Bummer.

Yeah, Gene was one of a kind, helping out people who discovered long past undeveloped films in their cameras, and printing the results here. His wry commentary was a riot. I lost track of him several years ago.

The pictures remind me of Central Camera in Chicago before it was burned down in the recent riots.

If I ever get to deliberately collect even one Instamatic, Lubitel or box Brownie, I'll know it's time to get therapy!

I think they will all become valuable or at least of interest but it will take another 100 years.

I have an Instamatic 100 and need to get an Instamatic 25. Important cameras to me.

I don’t know Joe, I have three of the X Instamatics, the X-15 was my first camera as a kid. I picked up a few earlier Instamatics as well and a few even earlier than that. Then there’s those damn Nikons......:D

Because he has 3000 cameras I bet he needs some more. Just like when my brother called and told me he bought and paid for a 1987? Honda lawn mover and wanted me to pick it up near my home and I can have it. I told him thanks but if he insist I have to make a 250 miles trip to bring it to him. I told him I have 1 lawn mover and I don't need another one. He has 10 Honda lawn movers so he can use another just like I have 42 cameras I can certainly use another one.

I think newer model cameras will have not just phones but an all-important lawn mower attachment. This way, while out mowing the lawn, you can call your spouse and send them pictures of yourself hard at work landscaping.

In spite of being rendered obsolete by Honda's move those pre '88 mulchers are still highly sought after by lawn mower enthusiasts.

Was mulching an actual useful thing? I always believed they designed a mower with no collection bag and tried to sell us on the idea the cut dead grass was good for you lawn.

And i do understand that so I made the trip and brought him the lawn mover just like I would make the trip if he has one of those old cameras that I want. That is why I said you have 10 Honda lawn movers so I understand that you need more and I have 1 Sears lawn mover I wouldn't need another one. Just like he has his Iphone he wouldn't need a 40 year old camera.

Yes but the poor dynamic range of the the Honda '87s is a fatal flaw to the kind of mowing that we professionals simply must have.

I have a few instamatics buried somewhere, plus I've a very small small collection of bellows cameras and echta cams as well. I love them. And they look great in my bar area. 10 or 15 of something is a collection, 3000 of something may be called a obsession.

With the advent of mulching mowers and no bagging cuttings, the backyard composters manufacturers saw a drop of 60% of their gardening accessory market share and litigation is still ongoing against Toro.

Battery operated lawn mowers are the way to go. Would you drive your car from behind the exhaust pipe? Buy a gasoline powered camera?

Cheapest and most healthy are eight bladed manual push mowers.

But based on that logic, we need to go back to brownies and stop buying batteries.

I find it cheapest to pay a neighbor kid to mow my lawn with her parents mower. And it's good for her health. This way I don't need to buy my own mower and can spend the savings on old cameras that I will never use but look great.
