Note that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc). Are you new to this thread? The general guidelines for these Wednesday threads are right here:http://www.photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00W7km. This forum's moderators are allowing up to three Nikon Wednesday images per week, so share some work! Almost forgot it was Nikon Wednesday night. These holiday weekends always throw me off. Speaking of which, this gent was out on a sunny Labor Day noon watching lively boat parade slide past Fort McHenry. Lots of good people, dog, and boat watching. Let's see what everyone's been up to for this fine Nikon Wednesday.
Tim Wilcox
When your model not only brings a real sword along, but also knows how to use it... you don't have much problem with people interrupting the shoot! (Z7 & 24-70 f/2.8 S lens. Lit with an Elinchrom ELB 400 in HS mode, hence shutter speed of 1/8000 and aperture of f/2,8 @ ISO 100 etc.)

ShunCheung
Yellowstone Waterfall Rainbow Nice picture. I wonder whether you have another version captured with a longer lens, or perhaps you just crop it, such that the waterfall and the rainbow are larger in the image. I have been to that location and have images of the waterfall, but that was way back in 1993 (also in September) and there was no rainbow at the time. I haven't been back to Yellowstone since. :(

Nickens
Thanks, this was an HDR series that I did during my trip there back in 2013, hard to believe but I'm just now going through that series and finishing it, better late then never I guess

The rainbow effect only lasted for about 15 minutes before clouds blocked the sun. In the regular, non HDR shots, the effect was not as impressive.

mike_halliwell
Nikon Z6 with 600mm AF-S VR lens Is that background rendering 'normal' for your 600mm VR? It looks kinda weird!
jose_angel
Luis, great rainy scene. I too like to take rain photos, you nailed the effect here. --- Mmmm, should have been more careful with focus... A friend likes to decorate used jars in this way. Nice.
