Mike Gammill
I decided to power up my 10 year old Compaq this morning as I have a lot of images on the hard drive. This computer has not aged gracefully but the images are okay. I'll probably make sure they're all backed up on a flash drive later today. So, to keep things going a few color images from a roll of Portra VC160 that I shot in my Minolta XE. I think the lens was the Rokkor 100mm f 3.5 MD Macro. rick_drawbridge
Very nice natural colour from that Portra VC160, Mike. That sort of subtlety is quite difficult to achieve digitally. To keep things moving along, here are some from a Canon T90. The lens was a Canon FD 35-70mm f/4 and the film was Arista EDU Ultra 200 developed in PMK Pyro. Mike Gammill
Thanks, Rick. I appreciated the compliment. For a while I still had some leftover Portra 160 VC in 35mm in cold storage, but now I'm down to a propak of this film in 120 and a couple of rolls of 220. I'll run them through my Mamiya 645 E or 645 J or possibly my Fujica GS 645S BTW, you combination of Arista EDU Ultra 200 and PMK Pyro is impressive. Mike Gammill
I neglected to mention that we're off once again to a great start in our weekly thread. Great quality and variety as always. If you have an extra image consider sharing it with the 365 day thread. Also, if you take photos with Pentax gear or gear that uses Pentax mount lenses (M42 or K) check out Tony Parsons' Pentax Thursday thread. If you have a Pentax 645 or 67 you have several places to post: here, medium format forum, and also the Pentax forum. Keep those great images coming everyone. And if you don't have any recent images post some older ones if you like.
