emanuelvazquez Posted July 25, 2020 Share Posted July 25, 2020 I detached the breech-mount to clean out my FD 50mm lens. Then looking for tutorials on YouTube no one suggests taking this part off... I know, I should have watched the tutorial first. I am stressed trying to figure out how to put it back but nothing has worked. If anyone knows how to, I appreciate your help very much. cmuseum Posted July 26, 2020 Share Posted July 26, 2020 Left-hand thread is correct. Putting the two tiny screws back in their place can be abit tricky. A longer screw of the same size comes in very handy. If you don't have one try holding overhead. Please note that the lens in the video is the very first, non-SSC “chrome nose” version and might not be entirely identical to your SSC lens. The mount part should be pretty much the same, though.
