The blind man of Delhi...well, one of them.

Recommended Posts

I like his face and the blankness of his eyes. But little too dark for an Indian man . He looks like he just walked out of a coalmine after working for 10 hours. Need separation of background with his headgear or shawl he is wearing around his face & head.. Those are my thoughts.

Thanks Bob...this was taken well after sunset in a dark, Delhi back alley, against an unlit doorway. I assume he is Indian, but the Indian man sitting next to him (who told me this gentleman was blind) was even darker!

I brought the brightness up two levels and fiddled with a bit of contrast so that the upper left white patch on his head covering would be to me a Zone VI. Try that, and then sign what I consider a print close to a Karsch. Aloha, Bill

Hi Bill, did you get my reply email about using the photo?
