The lilies are doing well in this 30C weather.. (and a neigbour who waters them)

the roses don't like water on the blooms. (have to instruct the neigbour :) )

The lens matters! Waiting at my mechanic's place yesterday I amused myself by taking some shots. On the M5 I shot the first photo with the pretty decent all around mega zoom EF-M 18-150 mm f/3.5-6.3 at 32 mm wide open, which was f/5.6 at that focal length. The second shot was done with the EF-M 32 mm f/1.4 at 1.4. Focus was on the silver star of the foreground car. Mega zooms are handy, but they can't always do everything you might want in a photo.
