marci_sandler
So I sold my studio building and have 35 years of accumulated backgrounds, props, packaging, you-name-it. I have to be out of the building by the end of the month. Any suggestions how to get rid of everything?
Sandy Vongries
You'll likely get better answers if you add a general "Where". e.g. Suburban New Haven. First thought would be a Moving sale - advert in local paper and photo club / school, etc. Best of luck, moving is a serious pain!

I have to be out of the building by the end of the month. Any suggestions how to get rid of everything? If there is (a big ticket/ i.e. big sale value) item or items which can be sold and removed this week, then do so. However if you are describing “bits and pieces” then - having sold the two studio areas; one office area and one retail store, I’d do this: > If part of the building’s contract of sale is for the building to be cleared, by you, then pay a professional rubbish removalist to clear it out and dump it: > If there is no such clause and the building was sold ‘as is’ ‘walk-out/walk-in’ (exact terminology varies), then leave it ‘as is’. I expect that the cost involved in the former situation would be a tax deductable item for this fiscal year (you should investigate that) and the latter situation simply, is not your concern. Ricochetrider
I'd be interested in a white and a black backdrop and C stands etc to support it. Also possibly an enlarger. It'd be helpful, as noted above, to know where you are located. Edited June 11, 2020 by William Michael

JDMvW
So much of this sort of thing is prohibitively expensive to ship, so something local- if you're in a big enough place- is usually necessary. Does any local school teach photography? Donations there might even be beneficial to you and them.
William Michael
It's getting close to the end of the month, and the OP hasn't logged in to PN since she posted her question: perhaps she has found the answer. WW
