Mike Gammill
Greetings all and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film camera. I'll start with some shots from a roll of Ilford Ortho Plus. I rated film at box speed (ISO 80) and processed in HC110 dilution B. Camera was Minolta XE. Morning sun on folding chair, MD Rokkor 24-50 f 4 bicycles, Tamron 28-200 f 3.8-5.6 With Ortho film we have to have a couple of images that take advantage of the film's lack of red response mostly red coffee can on black pick up truck, MD 100mm f 3.5 Macro my red Mustang looking black, 24-50 I'd heard that this film has a lot of contrast but I didn't have any problems. Heritage Museum in Starkville, MS. Tamron 28-200 also part of museum, 28-200 For scenes lacking reds the images look normal museum building, 28-200 I also tried a couple of flash photos with this film. I used a Vivitar 383. Izumi in one of her favorite places to relax, 100mm f 3.5 macro Remus at window, same lens, Even with only a 1/90 second X-sync the film handled the mix of flash and bright diffused window light well. That's all for now. I look forward to seeing everyone's images.

Mike Gammill
A few more from the Ortho Plus. rental equipment, Minolta XE with Tamron 28-200 bricks around Eternal Flame on MSU campus, same gear as above photo more bricks, same gear gas station (also in Starkville), same gear While my overall impression of Ilford Ortho Plus is good, it's too expensive to use every day. My usual films are not only less expensive as single rolls, but are also available in 100' rolls, which is my preferred way to obtain film. Among my stock I found a single roll of Rollei Ortho 25 that I haven't used so I may run that roll through a camera soon. Great photos, everyone.
