christian_irgens
After a reordering I escaped self quarantine and drove to Adorama to pick up the Kamlan 50mm f/1.1 II. Going the speed limit on the LIE, yeah! Anyway, the Mk. II is sharper and has higher contrast wide open. With Photo.net linear resolution at 1/6 the M5 sensor resolution, some details are obviously lost. But take my word for it, this lens is quite well suited for portraits wise open. I must admit, though, that this was shot on a heavy Gitzo with very careful focusing on the near eye using the 5x magnification feature. The subject was asked to freeze, and I think the result takes full advantage of of the thin slice of DOF. Stopped down to f/4 the lens is actually quite sharp.
christian_irgens
On a recent walk I found a house cat doing a very credible imitation of a tiger in deep grass.

jdebever
A friend came by last thursday and planted my dahlias. Making sure there's something to photograph later on in the year. It was bonedry, had to start watering immediately. Today it rained a bit.. but just a few drops.
