mikemorrell
Wherever you live, my guess is that - to a greater or lesser extent - your freedom to travel where you want to and take photos of faraway places is now severely restricted. The same applies to events and even street photos. Edited April 3, 2020 by William Michael
samstevens
Such restrictions can also be an opportunity. 5 "You talkin' to me?"
Sanford
I used to see tourist from all over the world taking pictures of my local library. Maybe I should walk down there and try to see what they were all seeing.
billangel
One can still shoot the seasonal outdoor displays of flowers. This is a stereoscopic depiction of a saucer magnolia tree shedding its flowers.
JDMvW
It certainly is an opportunity to process older images that one has not got around to. Already I have discovered a lot of images I had nearly forgot....
invisibleflash
Working on chipping away at a huge historical archive that has grown way beyond my means of comfortably dealing with it. Instead of more photos of people with masks, I've also been working as an audio archivist documenting the virus disaster. Have many hundred hours of unscoped airchecks. Almost from the very beginning. ...stay safe.

SCL
It's been a challenge, as my family and cardiologist have been very insistent on my not going out; my local trails, state, and national parks have been closed. So I've spent more time on forums and doing some domestic macro photography, as well as writing and keeping contact with old friends.

luis triguez
for the moment, I have been confined for a month and two days, and this is not over yet. So, macro photos are the best solution for me.:) Micro-Nikkor-P 55 on M 4/3 camera.
Bill Bowes
Dig into your archives for those pictures from yesteryear of friends & families. Surprise them with an email picture. This one is from 2003. That young three month old was 17 today. Her "party" was virtual for sure, but I could hear the sound effects since I am in the down stairs apartment. Stay safe & Aloha, Bill

Sanford
I have a gallery called "Misc B&W Conversions". I haven't added anything new to it in years, maybe time to start.
David_Cavan
5 years ago we did a major renovation and one of the things we added was a hobby room on the new garage for my wife's stained glass work, and for my photography habit. Life intervened and we never got it finished. So over the past three weeks that has been the prevailing project, and it opened for activity this week. I even built some tables using recycled decorative spindles and left-over cabinet materials as part of the project. I've started a scanning project that's been on hold for years, and after that I've got some larger printing jobs that I've been delaying. It's been good to be active because every time I think about what is going on out there I descend into a level of depression I'd rather not explore. I hope everyone is busy, and productive in their own way. 2 Dave Cavan https://davecavanphotographics.com/

Ricochetrider
I've done a couple motorcycle rides this week, heading out into open country with little traffic and no interactions with. people. Self Isolation has never been more fun! Other than that, I'be been shooting stuff around the house: and last night I took my camera for a drive to downtown, spent some time shooting empty streets so yes. I am getting restless
Jean-Claude
I live in Brussels, Belgium but for the time being I am confined in Senegal, Africa for another month. Enjoy! My sister lived in Dakar for a few years and we visited during her time there. Spent time in the capitol city and also moved around a bit, exploring Senegal. My overall impression of the country as a whole, and of the Senegalese people, was extremely positive. One could do far worse than to be in Senegal, although I note your use of the word "confined"- never a good time under any circumstance.
Jean-Claude
I wrote confined more as a joke although we are not allowed to move from one region to another. I am in Cap Skiring’ very popular place because of Club Mediterrannèe, french famous club that exists all over the world. The place is tiny’ people very much smiling the whole day. We have to wash hands all over the places, get a thermometer pistol on the forehead but apart from that, life is very easy going. Better here than in Brussels, France or worsé Spain !
