DavidTriplett
Basic Guidelines: In the strictest sense, nature photography should not include "hand of man elements". Please refrain from images with buildings or human made structures like roads, fences, walls. Pets are not permitted. Captive subjects in zoos, arboretums, or aquariums are permitted, but must be declared, and must focus on the subject, not the captivity. Images with obvious human made elements will likely be deleted from the thread, with an explanation to the photographer. Guidelines are based on PSA rules governing Nature photography which also cover the Nature Forum. Keep your image at/under 1000 pixels on the long axis for in-line viewing. Note that this includes photos hosted off-site at Flicker, Photobucket, your own site, etc. Each member please post no more than just one image to this weekly thread per week. We tripped out to the Bear River MBR this afternoon for a much needed break from the inside of our house. Pepe Le Pew reminded us that we're still required to maintain social distancing, which was not difficult in his company. Here's hoping all of you and yours are well, and coping adequately with our changed circumstances. Here I'm quite grateful for my 200-500mm/5.6.

DavidTriplett
Yet another nudibranch Gordon, not to worry. I never get tired of good underwater pix. What outfit did you use for these?
gordonjb
David, I will be going through dive photos for some time to come, as I did over 50 dives while away. I am shooting with a Sony RX-100 in a Nauticam housing with a single Sea & Sea strobe. For some of the macro stuff I have a macro wet lens that I can screw onto the front of the housing to get in a bit closer.

DavidTriplett
Hello, not clear on how this works. You just post what ever nature image you've taken on a given Wednesday? See criteria in first post. This is a recurring weekly thread, restarting, nominally, each Monday. Please follow posting criteria. There's a bit more flexibility in the Nature Unlimited thread starting each Friday.
