Thank you TriggerHappy. It's very kind of you to offer a meeting, although I don't know how we could do that. I haven't been using Photoshop much at all and was never comfortable with using layers. For the few things I did I would follow a tutorial step by step. I will try different lighting first, though.

There's so many different ways to have internet meetings these days. Many of them have become completely free now during the pandemic. Very nice.

I have a workflow where I go from LR to PS. So I use them both but for different things. I hardly ever do retouching in LR. It's not that LR doesn't do it well, it's just that you get that little extra control i PS and about a hundred different tools to do it in. It was very intimidating to me when I first moved from film to digital. Way back in the days long before LR was ever invented. Everybody said: "You need to use RAW!" And then the pain of not being able to see the thumbnails in the file system. And the computer would take ages to open them. Drove me nuts. Now I wouldn't go back.
