My favourite 16mm camera

KMZ Narciss 16mm SLR, with 8 interchangeable lenses, real size finder

Meopta Mikroma 16mm still camera with widest angle lens (con squinty viewfinder)

Wirgin Edixa 16- bright and large viewfinder, direct sight finder, easy control, limited speed range not a problem for ASA 25 film

Goerz Minicord small reflex, nice real size viewfinder second to Narciss

Had the Mamiya 16 auto as a teen - first camera I bought for myself. The cost of film & processing & image quality vs. handiness didn't work for me. I never managed to develop or print its output myself back then - couldn't afford the proper darkroom extras. Retired it when I went to college, as then I had no spare cash. Gave it to a sub min enthusiast a few years ago. An interesting episode in my photo experiences.

The only one in your list I've ever owned was the Minicord, which I inherited from my mother. A great camera to use, but commercial processing was a pain and I had no inclination to do it myself, although I had been doing my own darkroom work with 35mm for quite a while.

Do you know more about those 8 interchangeable lenses?

I have only ever seen the standard 'Vega', and the mount adapters.

Would be interesting to see or better yet shoot with one of the others.
