Mike Gammill
Good to see your work again, Tony. Haven't used Delta 100 in while (not due to results, but price). I liked what I got using Kodak's HC110. Generous offer, btw. I'm sure someone on the forum will be glad to take it. Congrats on picking up an ME Super. If compactness is of interest, look for the Pentax 40mm f 2.8 pancake lens. It's a sharp little five element lens that when paired with ME Super, ME, or MX will fit in most jacket pockets.
Tony Evans
Thanks Mike. That looks like encouragement to start collecting again! Tony 1 Tony Evans
greg_nixon2
My apologies to the Forum for being AWOL for some time due to various circumstances, winter rain, procrastination etc. During this time I have been selling-off my CMC collection, not receiving any interest from either children or grandchildren. I decided to keep only ONE classic, my all-time favourite CMC, the Pentax KX with some assorted -K and -M glass. In the middle of all this, in a moment of complete insanity, I decided I should keep TWO and, in contrast to selling, purchased a nice little ME Super. Here are a few trying it out down on Portside Marina. Pentax ME Super, Pentax-M 35/2.8, Delta 100, Rodinal, wet-scanned on the V700 under Silverfast 8. This was my first use of Delta 100 and I was "mightily displeased". I followed MDC 1+50 for 14 min @ 20C with regular agitation, but won't try again. PM me if anyone wants 2 x Delta 100/24's. I will mail them gratis. I wonder what part of the exposure, developing, scanning, that you are displeased about. Those scans look excellent to me.

rick_drawbridge
Good to see you back, Tony. While I'm not fond of Delta 100, those images look pretty good, to me. Here are a few from a Pentax Super A with a 35-70mm SMC Pentax-A f/4 lens. The film was Arista EDU Ultra 200 developed in Pyrocat HD. Tony Evans
Greg, Too much contrast and lack of mid-tones. I have since read that Delta 100 can be on the contrasty side. However, I admit to bias. I ordered 3 rolls of FP4+ on-line and, as is my luck, when it arrived I opened it to find 3 rolls of Delta 100. Perhaps I was just too peed-off! Thanks, James, I must be doing something right! It's mainly due to pyro development, and slaving over a scanner, I suspect.

Hmm, the Delta 100 seems nice and contrasty, deep blacks, nice and sharp? PM sent, sir! EDIT: I see now that the Delta 100 is on its way to anew home, oh well no worries. Rick_van_Nooij
An uninspired shot from a test roll I shot with the Reflex-Korelle. I should be happy I got some images at all though ;) Decaying shelter, Dunes of Loon & Drunen National Park. Kochmann Reflex-Korelle, 8cm f/2.8 Tessar, Fomapan 100 Probably some self-induced focusing errors and there's quite a bit of shutter drag. Not sure I want to open this one up for servicing though.
