Only your own personal items such as your portfolio can be deleted - otherwise you'd be single-handedly destroying all the other contributions to the topic/thread. However, you can also change your user name to something else (preferably not offensive), and go away and not come back. If the site survives, hardly anyone will ever know you were here. All of a prolific member’s forum posts were deleted when he was recently banned, destroying the continuity and sense of many of the threads he participated in. That policy was not followed in the case I’m referring to, which occurred about a month or so ago, when all the member’s forum posts disappeared upon his banning. If you’re interested, I can send you a PM telling you the member and linking to some of the now garbled conversations. Don’t like referencing specific members in public. "You talkin' to me?"
