m1664886133
Hey, photographic community. I dusted off the F80 recently and after a couple of rolls I started noticing some streaks on my negatives. Are those light leaks? If so - does anyone know what can be done on F80 to eliminate them? Internet says I should change the foam - but there's no foam. Like, at all. I don't think there's ever been any. I do not see any correlation, either. Some are long exposures, some are short and hand-held. Horizontal and vertical. But in almost every case there's this streak, it appears in the same place. Sometimes it's bigger, sometimes smaller, or not present at all. Some more are attached to the thread.

m1664886133
Awesome, thanks for the confirmation. Now on to fixing that. Looks like I don't have any light seal - at all. Would this one do? https://www.amazon.com/Camera-Light-Seal-Form-1-5mm/dp/B0014YUWF4/
m42dave
That looks like it should do well. To verify the proper foam thickness needed, you can put a little piece of modeling clay in the door channel, close the door and measure the thickness of the compressed clay. Micro-tools.com also sells good quality foam, and you can also try eBay. Some like the convenience of pre-cut kits, but I don't know if they're available for your camera or not. James G. Dainis
It was a good idea to show the film. That clearly identifies the problem and location. James G. Dainis
