Problems accessing forums

I'm posting this for longtime photo.net member Barry Fisher, who is having issues accessing forums and asked me to post here for help in trying to solve it. I don't think he'll mind if I just cut and paste his explanation here:

"When I changed browsers I was able to see the forums and messages, but then even in Firefox if I wanted to post upon logging in the forums would no longer be available. I get a screen saying "server error try again later".

On any browser I can log in, look at all my photos, upload pics, look at other people's pics, I just can't read any forum when logged in. I've tried their contact form but still haven't heard anything.

Summarize:

When logged in every feature of the site is available except the forums. I cannot even see any forums.

When not logged in I can see the forums."

He got a new mac laptop recently, so I asked him if it could be an issue with the new Mac OS, which he does say has some hiccups. That's not unusual though. Here is his response to that:

"I don't know, could be. I'm trying to remember exactly when it started wondering if its Catalina, but I think it was working before I got this so maybe."

I will report, including your entire (including Barry's text) message. Please note - I have had no recent responses from my Tech contact. We'll just have to see what happens.

Edit: Tech has acknowledged and will be looking into the situation.
