m42dave
Kodak Ektar. I'm about done with shooting colour neg film until I find somewhere that does decent developing. This was the best I could manage after some work with the file. The negs were a mess, the colour was shifted... don't get me started. B&W only for me with film for now. Not sure where you are located, but I mostly shoot color and Dwayne's Photo in the USA processes all the work I post here. They have done a good job with Ektar in the past. It can be a bit tricky to shoot, which is why I use it for special subjects and not as a general-purpose film. I've occasionally noticed slight color shifts (purplish tones), mostly in underexposed shots. Maybe some other contributors here will have recommendations on processing. hunter_compton
Still experimenting what the Kodak Bantam Special is capable of. Can say that I am very impressed with the sharpness of the lens, even wide open. The following photo was taken at f/2.0 1/100th in open shade on a cloudy day. Film was Kodak Colorplus 200, it was also my first time doing C-41 processing at home. Used a Cinestill CS-41 liquid kit, came out well.
Bill Bowes
My recent walk-about in Kailua was a series of mess ups. Put UFX100 in the Fed-2 / Jupiter-8 combo (at home) but forgot to change the Pilot to 80asa from it's 250 setting. Forgot both the G & 25A filters (at home). Top segment locking lever on my trusty monopod "snapped off" after two exposures. Oh well ! Two extra minutes in the Pyrocat HDC gave some decent negs. Here is one. . . thankfully their Ruben sandwich & a good beer calmed me down before driving the moped home.! Aloha, Bill
john_shriver
Even properly processed Ektar 100 is "interesting" to scan, colors can come out weird. Not fun with Nikon Scan. But easy to scan with SilverFast Ai using the Ektar 100 film profile (the last profile they added).
