paddler4
seems like some momentum for macro this week, so here's a recent one. I don't know exactly, but this is about 1/2 inch wide: 5D III, 100mm macro, I think (not certain) a 36mm extension tube.

Mark Keefer
Mark, is this those small 40/2.8 pancake lens? I like it. Yes it is. Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM. Great little prime lens that is super affordable at $129 new. Performs like L glass at budget prices, in my opinion. Hard to beat the value, it's a lens I recommend to be in every Canon shooters bag. :) Landscape images at high f-stops up tp f/16 are nice and shrp. Here is one shot with this lens on the 5D MK IV out in Garden of the Gods, Colorado. And it does well in low light at f/2.8 and being an STM lens it is nice and quiet focusing while shooting video. A lot of bang for the buck. 2 Cheers, Mark

Can see climbers on the top, flock of birds between rocks and radio masts on the distant hill.
