Adding a signature to photos

Can someone provide simple instructions to add a signature to a photo?

You can do this in PhotoScape X on the Mac (free version). I can tell you how to do it if you like.

If you scan in a clear signature, you should be able to add it as a layer.

If you use Lightroom, it can add watermarks. Just google "lightroom watermark" without the quotes.

A signature, on a Photograph.?

A #2 pencil has worked for decades.

So does a blue or black ball point pen.

If "you" are singing photos, why would a customer want a computer generated signature.?

There are numerous apps to add sig, watermark, whatever. Some free, some paid.

Far as I know tho, that alone isn't going to protect your images from being "stolen". Also far as I know, you an add signature and other info into each image's metadata in a modern digital camera.

I would think the OP is asking about watermarking, which can be accomplished via a Lightroom feature, Photoshop/etc, or any of a number of other apps. Without further information about tools currently in use, it would be pointless to offer instruction, IMO.

 

The OP did not mention theft (misappropriation) or ownership. If that is of concern (I'll add here) don't post your images online. Ever.
