Ed_Ingold Posted October 19, 2019 Share Posted October 19, 2019 The A7Sii is designed for video, and would be a poor choice for landscapes compared to the cheaper A7Rii, which also shoots nice video. The Sii is only 12 MP compared to 42 MP for the A7Rii. For the same money, you could buy an A7iii. While only 24 MP it has a larger battery, outstanding auto focus and is my personal choice for video. I prefer higher resolution for landscapes, but 24 MP is more than adequate for most purposes. The larger battery lasts me all day, even when sightseeing, compared to 2 or three needed for the mark II Sonys. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
