kerkko_kehravuo
Old cells of my -87 Ni-Cd pack are now rather exhausted and new cells would be so nice. In Finland I have not found a service shop willing to do that. Would someone have an idea of a European workshop maybe willing to do the job? chuck909
Why not just get the AA holder if you don't already have it? I see them now and then on eBay and at KEH (USA)
kerkko_kehravuo
AA holder would be fine. Not yet find any in Europe, Leica Shop Wien etc.
chuck909
Here's one in the US: Canon Battery Magazine FN - Camera Accessories - Accessories at KEH Camera I've been using one since my NiCads went dead and have been totally pleased
ben_hutcherson
It's not a super difficult job to do yourself if you can solder. I had a decent business buying dead packs, rebuilding, and reselling on Ebay at one time, although it has been quite a few years since I touched one. I always bought batteries with solder tabs on them on Ebay(remember that they're standard AA sized cells). 10 years ago, it was running around $10 per pack for NiCds and $15 for NiMHs. I'd guess that now, they're probably a bit more expensive, but with less price disparity.
