steve_gallimore1
Waterproof is one thing, but another, often forgotten is to make sure that it is either attached, or that it floats. I've lost count of the number of 'waterproof' phones I've seen slip out of pockets or hands, never to be seen again.
glen_h
In the 1980's, so late in the 126 days, I took a low model Instamatic with Kodachrome, I believe bought from the expired bin, on a canoe trip. Cheap enough that I wouldn't be so sad if it got wet or sunk. It was a nice sunny day, so not much problem with exposure. It didn't get wet or sink. For the water slide, I think I tied the strap onto my swimsuit so it wouldn't fall out. -- glen
Ed_Ingold
Put your iPhone in a zip-lock bag, and shoot through the bag. Should be good through pouring rain. Put that bag over your head (allowing for air) and how well can you see through it? Common practice is to poke the lens through the opening and seal it in place with a big rubber band. A hood is best, but a filter is usually enough to protect the lens.
akocurek
This took a few minutes to rig up for a walk in a snow storm. My snow-cam.
