mikemorrell
Me too. Ludmilla. I know I should take many more (and different) photos with my phone than I do at the moment (besides of trips, family, friends, etc.) Being old and 'conditioned by the past', I still tend to distinguish between 'taking a deliberate photo' (DSLR) - with all the settings - and taking a 'snap' (phone). The difference is often marginal and is narrowing. For me, it's a kind of old-guy prejudice that assumes DSLR photos are going to be better than phone photos. They're often not because you often have a phone but no DSLR :). You're doing great work here at PN to promote and demonstrate the value of phone photography! Congrats! Mike Gerald, that’s great. Love it. Everyone should use their phone more often. (I’m struggling at the moment)

They're often not because you often have a phone but no DSLR :) I like using my phone not just for when no DSLR is available, but to take pics that seem inspired by the phone. It's challenging, fun, and best of all not a substitute for something else. 5 "You talkin' to me?"
Jon Eckman
For convenience, I'm using mine more frequently and am finding peace with DSLR separation.

iansurita
I took the easy way as the iPhone was in my pocket and saved me getting out all the photo kit. Quick and simple to send an image to a fellow musician!
