Sanford
How do you adjust exposure compensation in "P" mode on this camera? Can either of the front or rear dials be dedicated to exposure compensation?
Greg M
Yep, you can set it up either way you want. There's a "Dial Function" option in the cogs menu system where you can choose which dial controls exposure compensation and which controls Program Shift while in Program Mode.
Phrontistery
If you want to stay out of the “cogs” menu, then the default camera settings are:- rear dial for Program Shift, Front Dial for Exposure Compensation Although you have the option to switch between Front or Rear dial to operate the Program Shift and/or other settings in either case you will still need to remember which dial you set for which function and you also have to remember the variable of switching the lever between position 1 and 2. Obviously the display can be set to show you the Exposure Compensation and or Program Shift. Page 34 of the manual deals with this.
