Film Camera Week for May 3

Recommended Posts

Greetings all and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you like from any film camera. I'll start with some images from a roll of Tri-X that I developed and scanned earlier in the week. Camera was Minolta XE-5 with Minolta Celtic 35mm f 2.8.

Very nice images, everyone. And it's only day one.

Fired up the "way back machine:" again and found some scans of some Ilford XP1 negatives I shot back in June of 1996. My oldest son was only 4 (he's now almost 27) and my youngest who is now 23 was only a few months old. No digital yet in that year and our cell phones were very clumsy. The digital dash still worked on my 1989 Olds Cutlass Supreme and it was only on its second alternator.

Okay, enough time capsule stuff- pictures

My wife and youngest son.

Not sure but I believe these photos were taken with a Minolta X-700 and MD 35-135 zoom.

Wow! A great start to the thread! Here are some from a walkabout with a Canon T90 with the Tamron Adaptall II SP 28-80mm f/3.5-4.2 (Model 27a) lens. It's my second roll of Arista EDU Ultra 200 in the 35mm size, and I continue to be impressed. The developer was Bergger PMK Pyro.

A few from a roll of outdated Fomapan 200 that I forgot about. Rated it at box speed and processed in HC110 dilution H for 8.5 minutes.

The Fomapan had a little fog, but not obvious when scanned. I think the roll expired in 2011.
