chuck_foreman1
I've been very disappointed with my shooting /results etc. Not sure if my "schlampigkeit" ..that is sloppiness is taking revenge. I've considered my developer to be questionable. The dynamic range of my negs sucks.. frequently blown highlights . More often than not over exposure. I'll try to pick a few passable contributions. Mike Gammill
Chuck- D76 is an amazingly flexible developer. However, I've mostly used it with Kodak and Ilford films so not sure if results with the Earl Grey or Foma film are typical. If the meter is off in the Super B though a little overexposure makes scanning tricky. I use an Epson V600 and have found slight underexposure seems to give the quality I like in my scans. For the last dozen years or so I've mostly used Kodak's HC110.
chuck_foreman1
Thanks Mike for your feedback... I have been very happy with most results ...but the bug seems to be on for every roll lately.. poor dynamic range et al
Mike Gammill
To keeps things going a few images from a Minolta SRT 200 with 45mm f 2 MD Rokkor. This is my oldest son's camera and it has had a jammed film advance for the last 4 or 5 years. I finally freed it up a couple of days ago so I ran a short roll of Tri-X to check it out. The camera (as an outfit consisting of SRT 200, 45mm f 2, Celtic 135mm f 3.5, Electro 25 flash, and bag was purchased by the Vocational Education department in the early 1980's from my family's business. My son's senior year in high school (2010) the school gave the outfit to my son. With that, I feel like the camera had "returned home". Now for some images. MarcelRomviel
Marcel- is that a late 70's Chevrolet Monza? My younger sister had one. Somewhere I have one more roll of Retropan 320 I need to use. I don’t know what model it is Mike. I’m not that familiar with American cars,
Mike Gammill
It's been a while since I've seen a Monza, Marcel, but from what I remember it looks like one. My sister had one with the 2.5 inline four, but it was available with a couple of V6 engines and even a 5 liter V8. They were heavy but small rear drive cars based on the Vega chassis. I had the Pontiac version (called a Sunbird) with the 3.8 liter V6. Probably have a picture of it somewhere.
