Lauvau
Hello everyone, With the Sony A7RIII, is it possible to have the aspect ratio that we chose directly in the electronic viewfinder, to see and shoot directly with the right ratio? For example, if I choose the format 4x3, will the viewfinder show me a 4x3, or still the native 3x2 ? If this option exist, it will be extra. I shoot on Canon 5DIV and this option is only on the back screen (for 4x3 ratio, the screen add black mask on the right and left of the screen... but not in the reflex viewfinder). Thanks for your help, Louvant
Ed_Ingold
The viewfinder and rear screen display the image according to your selected aspect ratio. For video, the image will be enlarged or reduced in the same 16:9 display, depending on the FF or Super-35 mode. Lauvau
Thanks for your answer. That a good point ! What we hear a lot on mirrorless reviews is confirmed: « What you see is what you get »
