You can achieve this aspect ratio already in a normal 16:9 phone, by either cropping or using a 1.3x anamorphic lens. But a 21:9 phone will have, by nature, a larger screen and a wider sensor. Typical formats are 4-perf 35mm anamorphic (Cinemascope), 2-perf 35mm (Techniscope), or 5-perf 65mm (Super Panavision). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
