Please help me to delete my account

If PN did not send you an email notice that you will be charged an additional $29.95 prior to charging your credit card, PN needs to refund this immediately. In any respect they should refund you regardless of any prior notification (less any small proration amount if notice was provided).

I would also consider contacting your credit card company and ask them to dispute this charge.

I keep hearing about the option to opt out of auto renewal, but PN must keep that option well hidden, since it's not an option when upgrading to a premium account (at least not an option before providing PN with your CC number), and it's not an option on the Account Settings page.

I have been a paid PN member beginning when PN instituted the annual member payment scheme, but I refuse to continue paying until PN expressly allows you to opt out of auto renewal.

We show no record of charging his account, I have a private conversation going on with him to get to the bottom of it. My sense is that based on his messages to me, he feels we charged him because he still has access to his account. In other words - I'm not sure he knows there is a free membership status available on photo.net, which is the status an account will go to in the event it does not renew. Again, I have a private conversation going with Kevin now to get to the bottom of it.

Wow I think there is some discord in the ranks! How can it be now...lol. I was charged through 2021 because I mistook the Restore Your Subscription banner on my account page to mean that it had lapsed. It had not. Very misleading. I now hope the site is still around in 2021, but even if it isn't, I wonder if my card will be constantly re-billed for a subscription?

Please note - though I have not been on a great deal this week, this was passed along with the poster included in the conversation

If you want to quit or get a refund, please start a conversation with me and I will forward specific information on what you actually want.

Hi and thanks Sandy for the reply. I am content to leave my account in the present state which keeps it renewed through 2021. It was just disturbing to have the renewal take place a number of times due to having a dialogue box continuously noting that I need to Restore My Subscription, which is misleading.

I also have a Premium Account which has an expiry date in August 2019.On my Account page, below the orange box titled ''Restore your Subscription'',there is a note saying that:''your account is set to expire at the date listed above:August 6,2019.There will be NO MORE CHARGES to your account. You may press the orange button above at anytime to to RENEW and EXTEND LONGER your subscription (set to auto-renew,unless you cancel again)...Now,the first part of the text is very clear as to my perogative to renew but what does the last phrase in brackets say....Auto-renew?

With all due respect Sandy, it's been about six months since I followed your advice about deleting my account and, as far as I can tell, my account is still active. Can you please forward my request again? I want my Photo.net account cancelled. It should go without saying that I also do not want my credit card billed.
