Recommended Posts

Greetings everyone and welcome to our new thread. Post all the images you want from any film camera. I'll start with some shots from a roll of Tri-X that I developed and scanned recently.

I had loaded this camera about mid January and then put it aside to finish film in other cameras, but here's a shot from earlier.

Some frames from a small expedition to exercise an Exakta Varex IIb with a 50mm CZJ Pancolar f/2 lens. The film was Kentmere 100 processed in PMK Pyro. I'm always fascinated by the fate of old vehicles and the resulting tangles of metal and glass.

Capa's original photo.....

41st Armored Infantry, 17th Combat Engineers and the 82nd Recon of the 2nd Armored Division (+ a few regiments in the 30th Infantry Division) were equiped with the Camouflage HBTs just before the start of Operation Cobra (The Normandy Breakout) as a one-off test by the Corps of Engineers to placate the camouflage advocates. In the next 4 weeks many of these suits were 'lost' as they faded, wore out, or were simply left on the hood of a vehicle to be blown away

Here's a "mistake" from the roll of Kentmere 100 out of the Exakta Varex IIb from which I posted a series of images, above. Quite how I managed to get camera shake to such a degree at 1/125th, I'm at a loss to explain, but the effect seems to add atmosphere to a photograph of an abandoned garden. The lens was the same 50mm CZJ Pancolor f/2.

I took the title from one of my favourite works by the Engish poet T.S.Eliot.

Footfalls echo in the memory...

It was too hot for comfortable sleep last night so about 8.0am I went downtown for a therapeutic coffee and Danish, taking with me a Canon T90 fitted with a 35-135mm Tamron Adaptall II f/3.5-4.5 lens, (model 40A). I took an assortment of pics along the way and around town, and I'll post a few here; the film was Ilford FP4 Plus developed in PMK Pyro.

First roll of film from my Leica M6/Voightlander 35mm f2.5 lens and Kodak UltraMax400. The camera is a gift from my oldest son. The photo is of some old Army Barracks Fort Ord Ca. which is now CSUMB (Monterey). I did basic there back in 67.
