wadeschields Posted January 30, 2019 Share Posted January 30, 2019 Does anyone know what lenses/camera the inner threaded 27mm Zeiss Ikon filters fit? I bought a set for my Contaflex after seeing that the yellow filter had the threads on the outside. I assumed that they all had the threads on the outside but of course the rest are inner threads. Actually I just didnt really know that there were two types so I wasnt looking that close. A real rookie mistake. I have since sourced the correct green and blue screw on filters, so I will sell/trade the others . However I have not found a red filter with the threads on the outside. rodeo_joe1 Posted January 30, 2019 Share Posted January 30, 2019 When I get lenses with a stupidly-sized and hard to find filter thread, I just buy an adapter to a common larger size. The adapter also works as a shallow lenshood. 27 to 49mm filter adapters are readily available. I adapted the daft and fiddly 30.5mm filter thread on my Sony a6000 to take a common 52mm filter and much less fiddly 52mm lenscap. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Free shipping made the price somewhat tolerable.. actually no bad for what I got.. once it arrives I’ll nail down my final kit and sell the rest (probably) ;-) Thanks for the advice.. JDMvW Posted February 7, 2019 Share Posted February 7, 2019 I actually have bought some 27mm screw-in filters, It might have been for a twin-lens Zeiss camera. but I just don't remember. Such small filters were also used on large diameter telephotos and such like where they were mounted to the rear of the lens. Does anyone here have a 27mm red filter that they want to part with? The female thread 27mm filters fit the Zeiss Ikon Contessa 35 folding camera. I know because I just bought a cherry one on eBay and started shopping for filters. The lens has an annular groove that is male threaded on the inside for the filters and there are also 32mm slip on filters that go over the front element of the lens. I understand that the 27mm filters also accept an adapter ring with male threads so they will fit on the Contaflex as well, but don't quote me.
