mark_hahn
isn't that just a 2.3MP camera with interpolation to 5MP? Cute camera of course... maybe good digital images isn't the point to any of these...
MTC Photography
The 5MP is indeed interpolated, not optical, the sensor is probably the same as Minox Leica DCC M3 5MP, which sells for only $199 new and about $160 ebay, a lot cheaper than the 5MP Rolleiflex, and cheaper than 3MP Rolleiflex

Dragon with 3MP Rolleiflex minidigi

The image quality of my 3MP Rolleiflex is actually quite good, better than what I can get out of Minox EC
Since the 3MP Rolleiflex minidigi is now more valuable as a collector item, I have shelved it and replace it with a Kodak Easyshare 6MP for less than $99. mark_hahn
hmmm, good film in an EC... I think I would take that over the dragon shot... though I keep looking at the Leica digitals... (I do have the film "Classic" Leica M3)
MTC Photography
I have also Minox Leica DCC M3 3MP. But it does not keep its value as Rolleiflex minidigi.

M3 3MP

DCC M3 +Zeiss Ikon Proxar 0.3M

MTC Photography
The biggest problem with all these type of classic digi is the short life of battery. One CR@ only last about three dozen pictures, like film camera with 36 exp film. My Leica M3 and Rolleiflex minidigi are now display items. ben_hutcherson
Around this post was originally written(actually a bit before) I was actively using REAL Rolleiflexes for a lot of my photography. I remember coming across advertisements for these little cameras frequently, and of course dismissed them because the resolution was lower than the digicam I often carried in my pocket(as a light meter for my TLRs) of course the price then was high enough(and Rolleiflex prices low enough) that I could have bought an f/3.5 Xenotar or Planar for about that or not much more-all my 'flexes then had Xenars. Of course, no one has a crystal ball but I wish I'd bought one given their current prices....not to use but as an investment.

MTC Photography
Rolleiflex minidigi uses standard SD card. Battery: CR2 3v lithium battery The viewfinder screen really works.
MTC Photography
Cover the top lens, the screen still works. It means the viewfinder is not optical.
