mikemorrell Posted January 13, 2019 Share Posted January 13, 2019 Interesting! The Nikon brand is an unfortunate victim. I found it interesting to see how the Flat Earth (FE) movement hold on to their fundamental (if misguided) beliefs and subjective experience and distrust evidence from scientists and institutions (NASA) as 'conspiracy'. I hasten to add that I do not subscribe to their beliefs! On YouTube, there are a couple of videos that according to the FE movement 'demonstrate' that their FE theory is the right one: video's which - according to the the filmers - should not have been possible given the earth's curvature. The fact that they were taken with a Nikon is incidental. Their main 'proof' seems to be that a zoom lerns doesn't show the earth's curvature (as calculated).
