Could be flash falloff, or just 'normal' lens vignetting that you get at wider apertures.

 

If you look hard enough you'll detect vignetting with almost any lens at apertures wider than f/5.6.

 

Sometimes you get a hard shadow from a lenshood shading the flash. I don't see that here.

EXIF reveals your shot was pulled with a D750 using an 85mm Prime Lens, at F/2

 

I use Canon DSLR: the EF 85/1.8 when used at F/2 has similar vignette.

 

It's more noticeable on the top corners of your image, because that's where the light background walls are located.
