Xícara de Café
Volkswagen Beetles do photograph well. They're not actually that bad to drive. One of my friends from high school had a used 1969 Beetle and it was fun to drive. It would top out on level ground around 80, but still fun to drive. My last experience driving one of these was in the outskirts of a regional city, in pouring rain, on a highway full of trucks, trying to find my way back to the hotel. I prefer them as objects of beauty! They sound great too of course!

MarcelRomviel
MarcelRomviel said In the Film Camera Week forum all film cameras are welcome. We tried a dedicated thread for modern film cameras in the Modern Film Camera forum but had little participation. A few years back we decided to welcome posts from any film camera in this weekly thread. Thank you Mike for your answer. I have some photos from the EOS scanned so expect a few in the comming weeks. Moving On
Love the Enterprise ornament. The zoom effect looks like some of the fun I used to have years ago when I first got my Pentax.
Mike Gammill
Thanks, Moving On. My wife gave me that ornament for our first Christmas. I think the zoom effect makes it look like it's going to warp speed. With the boys grown up my wife and I put up a much simpler tree these days. rick_drawbridge
A great section of fine images in this weeks thread! I'd hoped to get out again this weekend with a camera but, once again, the weather has closed in. I'm beginning to think that Summer has been cancelled... We're now past the longest day, without our usual fine, settled December weather. Anyway, to keep things going, here are a few images from last weeks session with a Mamiya 645 1000s and the Mamiya Sekor 55-105mm f/4.5 lens. The film was Ilford HP5 Plus developed as a trial run in Bergger PMK Pyro, They Remembered the Dog... Ricochetrider
Canon AE 1 Program, TriX film Another front eh the old Canon AE1 Got the camera cheap, at an estate sale. I think it needs a thorough CLA; I never did have a lot of luck getting it to focus really well- but I like the look of these 2 images none the less, both have an old-world quality to them, I think... Mike Gammill
Really enjoying the images. Great work, everyone. A little more from some recent film. Waxing gibbous moon, Olympus OM-1, Orion Apex 90 (1250mm f 13 cat), Tri-X, sides cropped I think above frame slightly overexposed. A place we plan to try, Olympus OM-1, 35mm f 2.8, Tri-X The little Olympus Zuiko 35mm f 2.8 is a handy little lens only slightly larger than the compact Olympus 40mm f2. Focuses closer than my other 35's.
Mike Gammill
Should be a waning gibbous.
