rick_drawbridge
Yes, this is a excellent short zoom, Mike. Osawa were very closely associated with Mamiya, but the company went bankrupt in 1984, one of the biggest financial collapses Japan had experienced. It's postulated that the demise of Oswa forced Mamiya to abandon their development of the "Z" series of 35mm cameras, thereby ending their participation in the 35mm market. I'm pleased you like the images!
Mike Gammill
I remember the Osawa "Lens Jungle" ad from the early 80's photo magazines. With the 28-80 or 80-205 you could get a free polarizing filter.

Bill Bowes
Learned a new culinary trick while at the Farmers Market Sunday. Slice the thin eggplant (pictured) lengthwise & pan fry in olive oil with garlic & ginger. Drain & serve with grated Parmesan cheese. . .red wine optional !
