I'd hate for another year of Nikon Wednesdays to go by without my having been pulled into another bird dog puppy shoot. Here are some out-takes from the past weekend's fuzzy portrait session with a littler of 6-1/2 week old German Shorthaired Pointers (my favorite breed!). A good December to all, and ... share some photos!2018-12_puppies_02.thumb.jpg.409a835b2f7db7456cc5ca1841dd2b88.jpg

Nikon Z6 with 24-70mm/f4 S kit lens at 32.5mm, f8, 1/100 sec and base ISO 100

The Z6, and presumably the Z7 also, is excellent for landscape photography. Wide-angle lenses are no longer compromised due to the mirror. The EVF is wonderful at low light as it can brighten up everything.. However, under full sunlight, I still prefer the optical viewfinder, as looking thru the EVF still gives me a bit of the feeling of looking into a television.

There is a Chinese restaurant in the San Francisco area that has fun dishes such as this one. You just don't feel like eating it and damage the art work.

Which restaurant is that? I'd love to go there!
