mikemorrell
Yesterday, I stumbled on two (related) Youtube videos on photography and especially PP that were refreshingly different from the run-of-the-mill "how to...?" videos (however valuable these are too!). Blake Rudis (f64academy) and his collaborator Jim Welinski independently posted 10 min. videos in which they talk about photography (and especially PP) as a way of communicating an intention, a personal experience or "vision" that a photographer has when he/she is motivated to take a photo. Great and good photographers have of course always used photography creatively to express some intention, experience or vision. Their talks mainly illustrate how (anticipated) digital PP can help in this.
